For the past 30 years, our parent principal, Aloe Vera of Australia Pty Ltd has celebrated good health and beautiful skin, with its range of Aloe Vera juices and skin care products.  Providing only the best from Nature, our natural formulations bring balancing, cleansing, nourishing, healing and moisturising to the body.

The McDougall family brought the first Aloe Vera plants to Australia in 1977 and established plantations in Queensland and Victoria, Australia, where Aloe Vera was grown and processed, to be manufactured into a wide variety of Aloe Vera juices (with 99.9% and 85% Aloe Vera), skincare products, and mineral water drinks for the Australian market. Aloe Vera – “The True Aloe” - has been recognised for thousands of years as “Nature’s Medicine Plant” because of its healing, moisturising, repairing and regenerative properties. The ancient Egyptians called it “The Plant of Immortality”; the ancient Greeks, “The Universal Panacea”.  It is rich in vitamins, minerals and amino acids, and is naturally antibiotic and anti-inflammatory.

Jennifer McDougall, founder of the Aloe Vera of Australia Pty Ltd, started out in the health and beauty industry 37 years ago working for a direct marketing company.

However Jennifer had a dream of owning her own business, and with an enthusiastic belief in the wonders of Aloe Vera, she took pioneering steps in bringing the first Aloe Vera plants to Australian shores, and establishing Australia’s original Aloe Vera company, Aloe Vera of Australia Pty Ltd.   This marked the beginning of the Aloe Vera industry in Australia.

With strategically located farms and manufacturing facilities, and Jennifer’s foresight, vision and commitment to excellence, the Company has continued to be in the forefront of the Aloe Vera industry in Australia, and also to expand its influence in new markets in other countries.

In 2003, Jennifer had the honour of being awarded the Australian Centenary Medal in recognition of her contribution to the Aloe Vera industry.
